What browser should I use?
Currently Freedoms Press is best displayed using Firefox and a screen resolution of 1024x768. Freedoms Press can also be viewed with Internet Explorer 7 but not version 6 or lower.
How do I publish a new article for my column?
To publish a new article click the "Article publisher" link. Once you have done so, creating a new article can be completed in just a few steps. First give your article a name. The next step is to decide which section to put your article into. After you have completed those steps you may start writing your new article, or pasting an existing article into the text editor. Optionally you may add one photo to go along with your submitted article. After all these steps have been completed you may view your article to see if any changes need to be made, after which you may submit your article to be published within your column.
I really don't like your site and want to delete my account...
Deleting your account is as easy as going to your column page, clicking on the edit profile tab. At the bottom of the page you'll notice a delete my account button which will delete your account.
I accidently deleted my account...
Unfortunately when you delete your account from the edit profile page all your account information is deleted from our database. Your only option will be to create a new account and start from scratch.
I lost my password, can I get a new one?
Yes you can. You'll notice a link located in the user login block entitled lost password. Click that link and submit your email address. Once you have done that we will send you a new temporary login for you to use.
How do I reset my password?
To reset your password visit the edit profile page. Simply enter your new password and confirm your password by entering it again in the confirm password box. Once you have done that scroll down and click on the save changes button.
How do I delete my picture that is displayed in my column?
Go to the edit profile page and check the delete box located beside your uploaded picture. Then scroll down and click the save changes button to finalize this task.
How can I change my profile picture that is displayed in my column?
Go to the edit profile page. If you already have a picture upload you may delete by selecting the delete box. After that select a new picture by clicking the browse button and select a new picture. Scroll down and click the save changes button to complete this task.
I noticed some mistakes in my article. Can I edit my article?
Yes you can do so by viewing your article in question. When you are viewing your article you will notice a link entitled "Edit this article" located below your articles title. Simply click this link and you will be brought back to the article publisher where you may edit your article to your liking.
I published a new article, but the article is formatted wrong. What do I do?
If you encounter this problem more time than not all you have to do is edit your article. When inside the editing page look for a button labeled html. Press this button and once again resubmit your article.
I read a article that I found offensive, how do I report it?
When you are viewing the article in question, scroll down to the bottom of the article. There you will see a link entitled "flag as offensive." If you wish to report that article click this link and our stuff will review the article.
