Having trouble sleeping, and spending countless hours tossing and turning with no more sheep left for you to count. Many of us complain about not sleeping enough or never getting a good nights rest. Most of use know the causes of this are related to stress, anxiety, being over work or just excited about the day ahead of us. Regardless of the situation here is a few tips that might help you get to sleep heaven.
Thiamine or vitamin B can play a major role in helping deal with insomnia. This nutrient help your body relax and a relaxed body does help you fall asleep faster. Where can you find this? Wholegrain cereals, pulses and nuts are among the food that contain this vitamin. A quick search and I'm sure you'll find many more.
Another remedy can be found using honey... Two teaspoons with a large glass of water before bed will do just fine. This is common in helping babies fall asleep for all you mothers out there. Also feel feel to switch the glass of water with some milk.
As a final thought if none of these methods seem to be working for you, try to change your diet by cutting out salt. A low salt diet has been proven to help with insomnia. Also taking those so called sleeping pills won't do much except knock you out. Thats not to much fun if you house is on fire and you can't move.

I don't suffer from insomnia but I've noticed one thing about surfing the net is that there seems to be a cure for everything... I wonder if what you say really does work.. can anyone back this up?

I have two comments the article is real old as can be seen by the year which leads me to believe that in all those years leading up to now there has to be a better solution. Also there is a missed spelled word, Also feel feel to switch the glass of water with some milk. Should read feel free. Anyway article is interest but may not work for everyone.
