Hockey season is fast approaching. For us Canadians the thought of leaves changing color can only mean one thing. HOCKEY IS BACK! As a long time Habs fan I for one am very excited. Could this be the year? After all the Montreal Canadiens are looking pretty strong in the division. What once was a division dominated by the Ottawa Senators and now had a changing of the guards. No longer does the Senators have the depth they once had. Havlet, Hossa and Chara have moved on in the past few season leaving major holes in the armor of the Sens army. While the Sens seem to be on a major downfall the young emerging Canadiens are fast becoming a power house of the NHL. With veteran leadership from players like Koivu, Kovalev. In combinations with the young talent they have, and a solid goalie who some would call the next Patrick Roy. Even though I say this every year... Mark my words... The Habs will win the cup!!! Sorry Leaf fans. You'll have to wait awhile... And besides everyone knows the only team the Leaft can beat... well... is the Leafs.
