Fat America

Question... What do you call the fat kid at McDonald's? ... American... Yeah that's right I said it, and it's true. A fat American is about as common as having two arms and legs. Imagine fat birds? Like super fat birds. So fat they can't fly. All they can do is waddle around and hope there is a even fatter worm that won't be able to get away. Or maybe a fat fish. So fat that the fish sank to the bottom of the sea. Or... OK, Point made... Enough with the put downs and fat jokes.
The point I'm tying to make is that I hear all this talk about smoking and peoples health. Yeah smoking is gross and bad for you, and it does increase health risks, but did you know obese people are more suseptible to heart disease than a smoker? Only recently has the Government started to educate the public on the matter of obesity and health concerns. But what are people to think when half of society is telling our youth to shape up and lose the fat, while the other half sends out the message of big is beautiful.
More often than not when something like this occurs, it becomes a cash crop for major companies that are trying to cash in. How many of you own a piece of exercise equipment that serves no purpose other then being a place to hang your clothes. I too am guilty of this. Yes thats right, I'm a fat man. It seems that obesity is almost like race. Racial jokes are not jokes if said by a person of another race. Imagine Chris Rock if he was Mexican using the same jokes as he does now. The same can be said for fat people. It's OK for me to make fun of another fatty, but the moment a skinny (swear word) makes a comment.... HELL NO YOU DIDN'T JUST SAY THAT! That's just rude and ignorant.
So is there a cure for this epidemic? Maybe a miracle drug, or some type of surgery. Well sure there must be something as obesity itself is a million dollar industry. A world without fat people would be like a world without fossil fuels. It would hurt our economy. So let's keep around enough fat people for companies to sell their products to while getting rid of just enough to easy the burden on our social health care. After isn't that what the Canadian smoking ban is all about? And besides who would be in those weight lose commercials? You know the ones where they have the before and after photo. (swear word) those commercials are so 1980's.
