NFL Season (My overview for week two)
Well folks last week marked the beginning of the 2008 NFL season, and what a opening week we had. League MVP Tom Brady went down with a season ending injury in the first quarter. Vince Young fell apart when the Titans faithful booed him of the field. And Brett Favre made his debut with the New York Jets.
This week will certainly be no different as there seems to be a lot of evenly matched teams facing one another. The Patriots will have to find away to win without their Quarterback Tom Brady, along with a few elite teams trying to avoid a awful 0-2 start.
So who's going to win this week you ask? It's anyones guess and this week is far from being a dream week for any fans looking to make a buck or two. So let's stop wasting time and get to it, shall we....
Titans VS Bengals
Well this game won't break any scoring records it's safe to say. Backup Kerry Collins gets the start for the Titans in replace of injured Vince Young. Whoever scores first wins.
Final score: 14 - 10 Titans
Bills VS Jaguars
This game will be about the battle of the trenches and to be fair Jacksonville has a lot of injuries upfront. The Bills looked solid in week one and I look for them to continue that this week.
Final score: 24 - 17 Bills
Raiders VS Chiefs
BORING!!!!!! Common, can you blame me? This will be a game of mistakes, dropped balls, and poor coverage.
Final score: 13 - 9 Chiefs
Colts VS Vikings
Can the Colts avoid a 0 - 2 start? Well one thing we know for sure is one of these teams will be entering week 3 without any wins.
Final score: 30 - 24 Colts
Bears VS Panthers
The Bears shocked everyone last week with a dominating win over the Colts. Will Kyle Orton have what it takes to bring the Bears back into the playoffs? Only time will tell.
Final score: 20 - 17 Bears
Packers VS Lions
The Lions looked anything but good last Sunday as the were defeated by a young Falcons team. Is it me, or are the Lions always going to be a bad team? Kitna, retire already!
Final score: 42 - 21 Packers
Giants VS Rams
Why is it everyone is counting out the Giants? Did they not win the Super Bowl last year? Sure they play in the toughest division in the NFL, but common people, give them the respect they deserve.
Final score: 27 - 20 Giants
Saints VS Redskins
Another year, and another offense for the Redskins. This is a transition year for them, and playing a stellar Saints offense won't help any.
Final score: 31 - 13 Saints
Falcons VS Bucs
Two bads offenses + One good defense = BORING AS HELL!
Final score: 13 - 3 Bucs
49ers VS Seahawks
Does anyone really know what a Seahawk is? Well besides being a bad football team that is. The Seahawks are hurting bad, and thin at wide receiver, while the 49ers are playing like the 49ers.
Final score: 17 - 16 Seahawks
Patriots VS Jets
The Partiots stronghold over the AFC East has come to an abrupt end with the loss of Tom Brady. How will the team react this week and they head to New Jersey to face the Jets. New Pats QB Matt Cassell didn't take a snap during his college career and now with the world watching, how will he play?
Final score: 20 - 17 Jets
Chargers VS Broncos
Remember last year when these two teams met and Chargers QB Rivers taunted Broncos QB Culter after the Broncos failed to convert a fourth down... This game will be heated.
Final score 27 - 24 Broncos
Dolphins VS Cardinals
BORING!!!
Final score: 20 - 16 Dolphins
Steelers VS Browns
Well I keep telling people that last years Browns were nothing more then a fluke. Watch and see people. Watch and see...
Final score: 35 - 24 Steelers
